Welcome to the annual conference Europaforum Norra Sverige, this year in Skellefteå, Västerbotten. Hosting the forum of 2017 is Region Västerbotten.

The theme for Europaforum Norra Sverige 2017 is "The region in EU - a union in transition". The question about the future of EU is more relevant than ever. While we see splits between the members of the union, the regions are requesting more exchange and influence. Europaforum Norra Sverige is the actuating instance of the four most northern counties where political representatives, both local and regional, from the four counties affect the policies of EFNS.
