LINDSKOG INNOVATION AB

For more than 30 years, the innovator Kjell Lindskog has developed various products for military and industrial purposes. Based on a proprietary patent, a full-scale test is currently in operation that covers both anti- and de-icing of the blades on a wind turbine. Icing poses a risk to the personnel at the wind farms and also causes the owners large production losses during the cold season.

The method for anti- and de-icing the blades can be installed on existing wind turbines or applied during production. Power consumption is negligible, and the system can be monitored via a web-based system. The installation to existing turbines can be made from a proprietary platform.

Linnovation also runs a number of development projects, where prevention of ice or de-icing is the common denominator. One project that is currently undergoing extensive military testing is the use of heated stretchers for winter conditions, as wound injuries can cause great blood loss unless the injured person can maintain body heat.
