The company develops, finances, builds and manages replicable facilities for the production of renewable, liquid fuel, eMethanol. Each facility provides large-scale investors with stable and sustainable long-term investment opportunities.

Liquid Wind is committed to bringing renewable methanol to market at scale, to meet the growing demand for cleaner fuel alternatives and reduce global carbon emissions.

The first production facility, FlagshipONE, will be connected to Övik Energi's combined heat and power (CHP) plant Hörneborgsverket in Örnsköldsvik. Once operational, the facility is expected to produce 50,000 tons of eMethanol starting in 2024. The new facility will upcycle carbon dioxide emissions and combine this with green hydrogen, made from renewable electricity and water to produce eMethanol.

In 2021, Liquid Wind named one of Top 5 Energy Start-ups globally by StartUs Insights.
