Accelerated Electrification of Road Transport

Electrification is crucial for the transport sector’s climate transition, and collaboration between various stakeholders is necessary. The Nordic countries have made significant progress in their electrification efforts, and close cooperation between the nations has the potential to further accelerate the transition.

The Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish Transport Administration are leading the project “Accelerated Electrification of Road Transport in the Nordic Region,” funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The project focuses on improving conditions for electrified road transport in rural and border areas and working towards a unified payment system for electric vehicle charging in the Nordic region.

About the Program

During the day, project results from the “Accelerated Electrification of Road Transport in the Nordic Region” project will be presented, along with a wealth of exciting knowledge and experiences from various stakeholders in the electrified transport system.

The conference is aimed at those who:

are interested in understanding developments at the Nordic level
want to be inspired to design new research projects and business opportunities
The conference will be streamed and conducted in English. It is not possible to attend in person.
