Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), or more commonly known as drones, has been around for decades. While they originated mostly in military applications, their use is rapidly expanding to commercial, scientific, recreational, agricultural, and other applications and today civilian drones vastly outnumber military drones.

But even if the technology itself is mature, we have not yet seen the full possibilities of what drones can do. On Umeå Tech Arena, June 2, we will dive into the world of drones. What can they do today? What fantastic opportunities are yet to be explored? And what are the mayor challenges that has to be addressed?

THe first keynotespeaker is Petra Dalunde who will talk about Large scale, regular drone traffic in urban environments. More speakers will be presented soon - stay tuned!

This time Umeå Tech Arena is held digitally. But we will still do our best to make it a digital experience where you can network and make new friends within the startup- and techcommunity.
