This year Women with Impact takes place in Örnsköldsvik. The half day conference aims at building connections and network for you who want to develop your work with gender equality but the event also to inspire and create discussion.
Gender equality is not just a matter of fairness. It also contributes to creating growth and development. Therefore, it is a problem that only 14 % of the executives in the private sextor in Örnsköldsvik are women and that the gender distribution is still very uneven in many industries. In the process to make change, we arrange the conference Women with Impact in Örnsköldsvik on October 4th.
The half-day conference aims at building contacts and networks for you who want to develop your company's equality work, but also want to be inspired, be able to discuss the future and create new businesses and collaborations. The ambition is that you will go home with new ideas, contacts and tools that can contribute to develop the equality work at your workplace.
We focus on the business value and present concrete tips from companies and people with broad and varied experience of equality work. During the day, you will among others meet:
Maud Olofsson - Former political leader, former Minister of Enterprise and vice Prime Minister
Tomas Gunnarsson - Known as Genusfotografen (Gender Photographer)
Estrid Brekkan - Iceland's Ambassador to Sweden
Ulf Ejelöv - Region Manager, Swedbank
Jennie Ekbeck - CEO Umeå Biotech Incubator
Several local companies will be represented, e.g. Rototilt, DomsjöFabriker and HolmenSkog.
The day is led by the moderators StinaHaglund, entrepreneur, cultural analyst, legal scholar, former Development and Finance Manager and MagnusHaglund, Municipal Director Örnsköldsvik.
The afternoon will be a mix of lectures and discussions about e.g.:
In what ways can equality contribute to growth and business values?

Include in communication and picture.
