Umeå gets a climate smart bus stop
Umeå Municipality is building a climate smart bus stop at Umeå University. In connection with that, other surrounding areas will also be rebuilt to enhance the availability and road safety.

A record turnout at EnergyWeek
Last week, the reformulated EnergyWeek 2019 brought together almost 4,500 event participants from 25 countries. All the continents were represented. During the week, participants got to hear a total of 110 speakers at 21 different events or seminars. The event had more than 170 exhibitors.
Northvolt wins the Energy & Innovation Award during EnergyWeek in Vaasa 2019
During EnergyWeek in Vaasa, Northvolt was named the winner of the Energy & Innovation Award. Northvolt from Sweden was nominated for their work with the greenest battery factory in the world. Besides Northvolt, Akkurate Oy (Finland), AES Tietê & CERTI Foundation (Brazil), PSR (Brazil), DCX (Poland) and Johanneberg Science Park (Sweden) was nominated.
