EENergy Grants - Opportunity to Receive a Bonus for Your Reduced Electricity Costs

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) have the opportunity to apply for €10,000 for initiatives that reduce energy consumption by at least 5%.

EENergy is an EU-funded project that distributes over 900 grants of €10,000 across Europe to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to take measures to reduce their energy consumption and, consequently, their CO2 footprint.

Application Opportunities

The purpose of EENergy Grants is to enhance energy efficiency in SMEs. The grant can be used for investments (such as in new energy-efficient equipment, solar panels, etc.), consultancy services, training, and a combination of these.

Who Can Apply?

All applicants must meet the EU's definition for SMEs (companies employing fewer than 250 people, with an annual turnover not exceeding 50 million euros, or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 million euros).

Additionally, SMEs must have been operational since January 1, 2023, to be eligible to apply. Applications from energy-intensive SMEs are particularly desirable.

Grant Amount

SMFs can apply for support of up to €10,000 with 100% financing.

The requirement for the application is that the business can demonstrate an action plan for energy savings of at least 5%

Application process

• Firstly, contact a counselor at the Enterprise Europe Network Kontakt | Enterprise Europe Network
• Develop an action plan together with an EEN counselor.
• Submit your application via the website: https://eenergy-project.eu/Link to another website. no later than April 15th.
• 50% of applications are approved through a random selection process. Unsuccessful applications may receive continued support from our EEN advisors to find alternative financing to implement the action plan.
• Projects/activities that are approved will commence in mid-July 2024.
• Companies receive payment when they can demonstrate they have achieved the 5% goal, either in February 2025 or August 2025 if the goal is reached later.
• All companies (whether they receive support or not) report achieved energy efficiency during 2024.
