Umeå Tech Arena is an annual recurring event for entrepreneurs, investors and anyone else who likes tech. On May 29th, it's arranged for the fourth time and this year the theme is artificial intelligence (AI).
Elastisys, one of the companies with which North Sweden Cleantech cooperates, offers a cloud management platform that provides fast and robust IT systems that are cost and energy efficient. Elastisys was founded in 2011 as a spin-off company from Umeå University. The technology is based on decades of world-leading research and is unique in its predictive approach to automatically scale resources according to future needs. Johan Tordsson, who has a PhD in computer science, is the CTO and co-founder of Elastisys. At the Umeå Tech Arena, Johan will discuss the challenges of fullyself-driving IT infrastructures and AI's role in responding to these challenges.
