In a visit organized by North Sweden Cleantech and Emil Källström from the Center Party, France's Ambassador to Sweden, David Cvach, visited prominent cleantech organizations in the region Västernorrland. In Örnsköldsvik, Processum and SEKAB were visited, where the ambassador received information about the company's operations and on various future projects.
"It is really great that David Cvach, France Ambassador to Sweden, takes time to visit interesting and active companies and institutes in Västernorrland, said Helena Näsström", international business developer at North Sweden Cleantech and organizer of the visit.
There are many players in the county working on the green shift. Besides Processum in Örnsköldsvik, the Ambassador also visited companies that are at the forefront of the green development in Härnösand and Sundsvall.
"It is nice that our business is attracted internationally, as in this case, by the French ambassador in Sweden," says Björn Alriksson, Group Manager Biotechnology and the one who presented Processum at the visit.
Processum is an active part of the international project Sylfeed together with the French project partners Norske Skog in Golbey and Arbiom, which worked well in this context. The Ambassador was very interested and, like other participants, asked several questions about the projects.
During the visit, Jonas Markusson presented the activities of SEKAB. The visit also included Pierre-Alexandre Miquel, Head of Regional Economic Department - Nordic Countries, Emil Källström, Center Party's Economic Spokeswoman and Anna-Britta Åkerlund, Second Deputy Chairman of the City Council of Örnsköldsvik.
David Cvach is since 2017 France's ambassador to Stockholm and his diplomatic career has included a number of positions in France and in French embassies since 1996.
