Great Interest in Swedish Cleantech in Lyon

With several thousand passing trade fair visitors and great interest in Cleaner Growth’s booth, the Pollutec fair in Lyon was a success for Swedish cleantech companies.

“I have familiarized myself with a number of new technologies used in water purification in Europe. There have been interesting visits to the booth, and some may hopefully lead to future business,” says Emil Eriksson of Järven Ecotech, one of the participating companies at the fair that accompanied Cleaner Growth to Lyon.

Pollutec is held every other year in Lyon and is one of the largest international fairs in environmental technology and renewable energy. Exhibitors from all over the world attracted businesses, regions, and students.

“It was a well-structured and organized fair. I have received good feedback and an enormous number of new contacts that can lead to business and collaborations. I couldn’t have gotten such a high exposure factor in any other way. With such a high visitor frequency in the booth, it was a challenge to visit all the exhibitors at the fair myself,” says Anders Lindahl of enviBAT, another company present.

Interest in Sweden was great, and it became clear that Sweden is at the forefront in many areas.

“We bring home many valuable new contacts and future partners to Sweden,” says Helena Näsström, business developer at Cleaner Growth.
