At the opening of Västerbotten at the Grand Hôtel, Hybricon bus systems received the Grand Prize award.
The jury explained their choice this way: “Hybricon develops and makes the world’s most energy efficient, clean and quiet systems for bus transportation systems. The company’s ultra-fast charging buses
can operate 24 hours a day on clean, electric power. Hybricon’s head office, which also houses the production unit, is located in Holmsund outside of Umeå.
The climate here, so close to the Arctic Circle, represents a perfect testing environment for cold testing of the company’s products. Energy efficient, ultra-fast charging coupled with modularised key components offers a range of unique features for the company’s buses.
