International business conference is planned in Skellefteå

Skellefteå will have an international business conference next spring. The working name is Future Industry Meetup - Energy Edition. Susanne W Lindström presented this during her visit at the municipality of Skellefteå's morning meeting at The Great Northern.

The theme of the conference will be energy, bioeconomy and smart cities.

The work to get visitors and lecturers from e.g. China and Hong Kong is in progress.

– We are working on getting someone to talk about the business opportunities in China and how the development of cleantech issues are handled there, Lindström says.

Susanne W Lindström presented North Sweden Cleantech during the morning meeting and the support small and medium sized enterprises within cleantech can get, e.g. methods for innovation development, export support etc.

– We want to find the pieces of gold that we can help expand, both locally and internationally, continues Susanne W Lindström and Åsa Svanberg.
