New technology to produce biofuel
The Skellefteå based company Eco-Oil and researchers associated with the Bio4Energy at Umeå University now launch a new technology for making "green" hydrocarbons that can be used to produce biofuels.
The manufacturing process can be operated within the space of a standard shipping container, and can be handled by laymen. Both the technology, which is based on catalysis and thermal conversion of biomass, and the pilot plant in which it has been tested, has attracted attention from investors in Sweden and Germany.
