MoRe Research offers you, with our wide range of instruments, pilot equipments and researchers, the opportunities to develop existing or new processes and products towards an environmentally friendly world. Our focus areas are wood raw-material and pulp development for both biorefinery development, nanocellulose and cellulose derivatives of various kinds and more traditional applications like paper, packaging materials and hygiene paper.

This unique and flexible pilot digester laboratory has almost no limits as to the projects which can be carried out, be that pulp cooking or bio refinery studies. Simulations of sulphite and sulphate cooking can be carried out and the results can easily be transferred to the customers' processes.

MoRe Research has pilot equipment and analysis possibilities under one roof for the whole process chain, from wood raw material to spun viscose fibre. In the viscose pilot the suitability of various dissolving pulps, as well as pulp mixtures, for viscose production can be evaluated. Screening trials can be done to evaluate impact from different process parameters on different dissolving celluloses as well as testing suitability of a dissolving pulp for a certain viscose process.
Municipality/ Örnsköldsvik
On our XPM we can do trials with e.g. nanocellulose, fibre composition, beating degree, grammage or chemicals such as dyes, sizing or retention agents. It is perfect to do screening tests in order to find new environmental friendlier chemicals and paper products.
